Description
You are bidding on 4 skeins of Opal sockyarn. The skein on top is a much sought after prototype from summer 2005 in red, white and blue - knitted up the pattern will resemble the American Flag with red and white stripes and blue background with white speckles. Really cool for patriotic socks ! The skein on the left is another prototype from about 2004. This collection later came out in Socka yarn and was called "Modern Art", but this is the original high-quality Opal sockyarn. The pattern will form stripes in purple and brown with slightly wider stripes in creme with red speckles inbetween. The skein in the middle is a brandnew prototype from 2008 - you can tell it's brandnew by the ballband which is now in dark colors, they changed this just a few month ago. The pattern will be stripes in different shades of blue and gray with some jacquard in creme and blue inbetween - this will even make nice men's socks ! The skein on the right is a real oldie and has well matured in my stash ! The pattern will be pretty wild - just spots and speckles in different shades of brown and blue with a little orange - I bought the skein with socks for my husband in mind but somehow never got around doing them ! All skeins are 75% virgin wool, 25% Nylon, 100g, 420m and each skein will make a large pair of socks with some leftover. Shipping is free for these skeins if you live in the US !! I am traveling to the US soon and will bring the yarn, so no overseas shipment. Please contact me if you live anywhere else. Paypal payment please.
