The stain finish not only enhances the natural beauty of the oak, but it also provides a layer of protection that will ensure that your new warping board last for many years. This board is a square, measuring 21"x21". The 5 1/2"x3/4" oak dowels are tightly secured with wood glue, and are 3 1/4" apart along the sides. Lap joint fastened together with steel bolts, and wing nuts provide structural strength.
