The spacers are adjustable from 1/2" to 1-1/4" and the steel pins are spaced 1/2" apart, center to center. The heavy duty pins are 1" above the board knitting surface. This board has 72 pins on each side for a total of 72 double stitches. The weight is 3-1/2 lbs and 38" long. This is just a wonderful, versatile knitting board. Each board comes complete with (1) knit hook, (2) patterns (1-rug, 1-afghan) and written instructions.No Knitting experience needed! The knitting board really makes knitting easy.
