To get additives to float and not sink to the bottom you will let the soap cool a bit.  It is a bit tricky and takes a little practice to find that "right stage" to pour, so it is not too thick or thin.  Too thin and the additives will sink to the bottom.  if it's to thick it will be very difficult to pour into your mold.  remember you can always remelt it and try again for practice or to fix mess~ups...note you must be using one color.
