Both mats were made from #4 cut wool with vibrant colors throughout the mats. The first mat is called the "Puffin". The Puffin is a local bird and the provincial bird of Newfoundland which is on the eastern coast of Canada. The mat shows the puffin resting on the rugged coast watching a whale submerge and looking at an iceberg in the distance.The mat measures 17.5 inches in height and 14.5 inches across.The thickness is about 0.5 inches. There are hooks at the top if you would like to hang your mat on the wall. A truly beautiful one of a kind mat. The second mat is called "The Rose". This mat is truly amazing. Deep mix of red colors throughout this mat and the center picture of the rose is incredible.The mat measures 33 inches in height and 20 3/8 inches across.The thickness is about 1/4 inches. There are no hooks on this mat to hang it.
