One carder would cost the same to ship and the ebay fees would be the same, so one would be fairly expensive. Also, it is good to have one as a cleaning tool and the other for flick carding. Or to use one for dark and coloured fibers and the other for white only.This wonderful device is a small cleaning card with curved face for use in cleaning other cards and drum carders as well as a Flick Card for opening tips of locks of wool for spinning. Some of the carders have pale grey carding cloth & some came to me without the little labels.The Howard Brothers Company, established in 1866, handcrafts these cards in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Each hand card is formed using select woods with a lateral curve for efficient use. The handle is ergonomically designed to shape and fit, easy to orient, and finished with a warm hand-rubbed sheen. The distribution of teeth is 54 per square inch – a perfect distribution for cleaning wire cards and carding drums & for flick carding. The wire pad measures 1 1/2” by 4” and the total length is 8 ½” – the width 1 ½”. I am so happy to have these cards for flick carding and for cleaning my standard hand carders more easily and efficiently.
