And what in the world is GlassWEAR? * stained glass painting *basic techniques of the craft by Anita & Seymour Isenberg and Richard Millard Published by Chilton Book Co., Radnor, PA 1979. 225 pages, softbound. Over 200 illustrations (16 in color). Aproximately 7 by 10 inches. This book ranks with THE ART OF PAINTING ON GLASS by Albinas Elskus as, perhaps, the "best" book on stained glass painting. The Isenbergs wrote several books on stained glass craft. Mr Millard was a rather active member of the Stained Glass Association of America (SGAA) with extensive art training and stained glass painting experience. In the book he goes into great detail about: materials and tools, setting up a work area, brush technique, kilns and firing, tracing and matting, silver staining, special techniques, and a lot more. Loads of drawings, diagrams, and photo examples (including several in color). Covers have numerous minor scuffs and bumps. Corners, edges bumped. Binding is solid. Contents are complete and very clean, with no underlining, highlighting, or notes. A very good copy of this hard-to-find how-to. Buyer pays $3.99 Media rate shipping and handling within the U.S. Add $1.75 for insurance, if desired. We are not responsible for uninsured packages lost or damaged by the Post Office. International/Priority shipment costs more. Ask before you bid. We usually ship once a week, on Saturday.
