Description
Offered for auction . . . . . . is a packet containing more than eighty-five (85) pieces of natural ~ Vintage Side-Cut White / Ivory / Taupe Cancelaria/Cornball Shells ~ measuring from less than a half inch (1/2") to almost three-quarters of an inch (3/4") long.  Pretty shades of White, Tan, and Taupe on the rippled outside of the shell, with more muted shades of White, Ivory & pale Taupe on the smooth inside.  I've been fortunate enough to purchase some small remaining supplies of shells sliced in the 1940s/50s period, so I'm providing the opportunity for you to share the wealth.  Fabulous for using as little sliced-shell flower petals when creating little lacy-edged seashell flowers, and for creating special little designs and borders in Sailor's Valentines.  (See auction 370067032957 for examples of flowers that can be made with these seashell slices.)  You can let your imagination go wild with crafting ideas for these little beauties!   Winning bidder pays shipping charge.  If you wish to insure your purchase against loss or breakage by the post office, please add the appropriate fee for the coverage you desire ~ I cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during transit. Combined shipping is available (provided one payment is received for all purchases), so please look in on my other auctions. Items will be shipped promptly upon receipt of your payment. I accept PayPal, money order, or cashiers check. A personal check is also welcome, but will delay shipping until the funds clear the bank. Please e-mail me if you have any questions or wish additional photos. Thanks for looking. Happy eBaying!
